Contessa 100
Conventional church pews have only 12" of passage between the rows at standard 36" row spacing. This minimal egress restricts the length of standard church pews to only 22' 6" allowable by code. The self lifting seat on the Contessa widens the passage space between the rows to over 20". This gives architects the freedom to extend the pew length up to 80 ft. without violating fire codes. The opportunity for longer rows with the Contessa means fewer aisles are required throughout the facility, which frees up additional floor space.
